about the author

Sue Jefferson began her career in international sales and marketing with Danone, before moving to British heritage company Jeyes, where she led several transformational growth initiatives rising to become Head of Marketing.
Then joining the CAD$6.5bn global food manufacturer, McCain Foods, she continually delivered unprecedented results, transforming brands, markets, manufacturing plants, people and profits, seeing her become one of the first female board directors, initially as Marketing Director then heading up a key business unit. She pioneered a new role as Global Strategy Lead then as VP Global Innovation as her working style, achievements, change management and people engagement skills created on-going success.
As you’d expect, with her balance outside work, Sue enjoys time with her family, dining, travelling, her racehorses and also speaking on BBC TV News, Radio and at other industry events.

Having developed so much business and people potential through her engaging style of leadership and culture change, she launched her own consultancy, helping companies unlock their hidden talent, especially their high potential female leaders and deliver unprecedented results.
Through her speaking engagements, corporate workshops and mentoring, she inspires and develops leaders, women in business and their organisations to excel in business and beyond.

Sue is an engaging speaker and can be found sharing experiences and tools on the business circuit, talking Gender Balance, Transformational Growth, Business Turnaround as well as being sought by the BBC and other forums for her straight talk views on controversial gender and diversity topics.

She enjoys giving practical taster talks in schools for boys and girls and in the many women networks found within organisations although she will often challenge their purpose and impact, so there is a stronger business win win.

Sue mentors only a handful of women at any one time as she supports them to achieve their dreams. In the first instance, do contact her if this is of interest and if she cannot help at this time, she can recommend other mentors, tailored to particular expertise.
